Meher Rehmen

Meher is a senior leader in the anti-violence space and applies a feminist, decolonial, and intersectional lens to her work on equity and justice. She has managed simple to complex programs and engaged with a range of marginalized communities to provide strategic guidance for impactful programs.

Meher has successfully led programs and given technical assistance on gender justice, immigrant rights, education and workforce development, language justice, public health, and youth empowerment to organizations in South & Southeast Asia, West and Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East, and North America.

She is committed to empowering marginalized communities to strengthen their influence across multiple levels using a culturally competent, strengths-focused, and anti-oppression framework. Meher lives in Chicago, a city she loves deeply, with her husband and nephew. She is a traveler, a storyteller, and a music and arts lover.
